We are pleased to bring you details of our information evening taking place on Monday 15 November 2021.  Our key staff will present information about our programs at both of our sites – Doncaster and Coburg.

The event will be of interest to anyone wanting to find out more about KHG and our programs.  It will be particularly relevant for people with disabilities who are interested in gardening and nature-based programs and their families.  We also welcome students who will be transitioning from school at the end of 2021 and their families. Our presentation will allow plenty of time for answering all your questions.  We look forward to seeing you there.

About KHG:

Kevin Heinze Grow has over forty years’ experience connecting people to nature and community.  Our programs are largely tailored to our participants’ goals and interests but our primary focus is therapeutic horticulture.

We offer a diverse range of learning experiences and provide services to people with a wide range of support needs.  Our horticulture programs have a social, recreational and sometimes, vocational focus and all of our programs are designed to promote meaningful endeavour and wellbeing.  Our hospitality program is delivered at our beautiful Coburg site where we have a nursery, garden and café as well as a commercial kitchen.  The hospitality program trains people in basic food preparation/handling and barista skills.

KHG staff are an exceptionally caring and dedicated group of people with qualifications, skills and experience in different disciplines.  We are Social Workers, Horticulturists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Educators and Disability Support Workers.  All of us have experience working with people with a wide range of physical and intellectual disabilities.

Kevin Heinze Grow is a registered NDIS provider.
