Robert Donohoe

Member

Robert brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Kevin Heinze Grow having a career of 40 odd years in the disability sector in an extensive number of roles within government and community sectors. As a person with a degenerative vision impairment he also has a lived experience of disability.

Robert’s most recent role was with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (formerly DHHS) where he was involved in supporting National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants’ access to Specialist Disability Accommodation within the NDIS Participant Support Services branch of the department.

Robert’s experience and knowledge of disability both worked and lived gives him a depth of understanding that adds considerable value to Kevin Heinz Grow and the work we do.

Robert has worked closely with people with disabilities and their supporters to increase choice and independence and respects the right of everyone to live in their own home, to have a job and to pursue their individual interests. Robert is very committed to ensuring people with a disability have choice and control of how services and supports they participate in are developed, implemented, and managed.
