Our Programs

As our core program centres around therapeutic gardening, it is important that potential participants are interested in gardening and would be willing to participate in our outdoor activities.

However, we do offer other services which are not garden-based such as our cafe program at Coburg and Clinical Services such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Counselling. We also have an experienced team of 1:1 Support Workers who provide in-home or in-community support to participants.

Yes we do! However, our Client Services team will need to assess a potential participants’ needs and allocate a suitable Support Worker before they can commence services.

Our core program operates between 9am – 3pm Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. In addition to this, we offer 1:1 support in the community which is available after hours on weekdays and weekends. We also offer an Teenage program between 3pm – 5pm. If you are interested in accessing these services, please submit an enquiry here.

Please complete our New Participant Enquiry form to express your interest. Our Client Services team will contact you to ask you some questions about yourself or the person you are referring. Following this, they will arrange a site visit with you.

You can find the prices for our services in our prospectus located here

We accept a number of different funding options. Most commonly, participants pay through their NDIS plan, however some participants also pay for the program through various funding bodies such as the Transport and Accident Commission (TAC), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) or a school. We also accept private payments.

The core program generally suits participants who are aged 16 years and older. We offer an Adult Gardening program for participants aged between 40-60 years, as well as the Grow Well program for children aged 7-14 years. Our Teenage program is for Participants aged between 13-17 years.

Yes, we do. A trial period will depend on the individual’s needs. The duration will be discussed in the initial meeting and a trial period will be charged as per the normal session rate. We will reassess the participants’ goals and plans at KHG following the trial period.
