Our Programs
As our core program centres around therapeutic gardening, it is important that potential participants are interested in gardening and would be willing to participate in our outdoor activities.
However, we do offer other services which are not garden-based such as our cafe program at Coburg and Clinical Services such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Counselling. We also have an experienced team of 1:1 Support Workers who provide in-home or in-community support to participants.
Yes we do! However, our Client Services team will need to assess a potential participants’ needs and allocate a suitable Support Worker before they can commence services.
Our core program operates between 9am – 3pm Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. In addition to this, we offer 1:1 support in the community which is available after hours on weekdays and weekends. We also offer an Teenage program between 3.30 – 5.30pm. If you are interested in accessing these services, please submit an enquiry here.
Please complete our New Participant Enquiry form to express your interest. Our Client Services team will contact you to ask you some questions about yourself or the person you are referring. Following this, they will arrange a site visit with you.
You can find the prices for our services in our prospectus located here
We accept a number of different funding options. Most commonly, participants pay through their NDIS plan, however some participants also pay for the program through various funding bodies such as the Transport and Accident Commission (TAC), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) or a school. We also accept private payments.
Our GROW Program is designed to provide an intergenerational experience, and is open to people aged 16+.
Our Teenage program is for Participants aged between 14-18 years.
All participants in KHG programs are required to sign a service agreement, or to have someone sign one on their behalf. These agreements run for a mutually agreed period of time, generally 12 months. Our standard agreement includes an early exit clause. If you would like to discuss your individual needs please speak to a member of our Client Services team on 03 9848 3695.
