Café Kevin is an important community space, providing opportunities to socialise in the peaceful surrounds
of the gardens.

Our Café Program focuses on a range of learning
opportunities including:

· customer service
· menu design
· barista skills
· using seasonal ingredients
· cooking within a budget
· kitchen equipment
· using a range of cooking methods
· sustainability and environmental factors in the hospitality industry
· Throughout the program, underlying knowledge in food safety and health and safety in the workplace is continually developed.

The Café Program uses seasonal produce from the Doncaster gardens when available which provides participants with
additional experiences of growing and harvesting food plants for use in the kitchen.

Participants in this program will build their experience and confidence with opportunities to learn meaningful skills in a safe, supported and friendly environment.
