Come along for a free guided site tour (Doncaster), and learn how our therapeutic horticulture programs support people with disability to build skills, confidence and connection through nature.

What you can expect:

On this guided tour of Kevin Heinze GROW, our Participant Services team will introduce you to our programs and show you how therapeutic horticulture supports people with disability to achieve their goals.

You’ll be guided through a range of garden and program spaces and learn how each is used to support wellbeing, skill development, communication and meaningful participation.

You’ll learn about:

  • The GROW Program – our core, garden-based program tailored to individual goals

  • Therapeutic supports, including Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Support Coordination

  • Our community nursery, and how it supports social, vocational and horticultural skill development

  • Communication and engagement strategies used day-to-day across programs

  • Café Kevin, our community café and hospitality training space

  • Funding options, including how NDIS, TAC, Aged Care or other funding can be used to attend

This tour is highly recommended for anyone considering joining a Kevin Heinze GROW program, supporting someone who may benefit, or wanting to better understand how our services work in practice.
