Online Seminar: The GROW Model – Peer-to-Peer Learning

Online

Join us for the ninth seminar in our Online Series: The GROW Model – Peer-to-Peer Learning

In therapeutic horticulture, learning doesn't only flow from facilitator to participant. It also happens between participants—through shared experiences, observation, demonstration, and support.

Peer-to-peer learning is a powerful, often underutilised dynamic that can build confidence, social connection, and a sense of agency. When participants take the lead in sharing knowledge, offering help, or modelling a task, they're not just learning—they're contributing. And that contribution can be transformative.

In this seminar, we'll explore how peer-to-peer learning shows up across both group and individual programs at Kevin Heinze Grow. We'll share real-world examples of participants learning from—and with—each other, and offer practical strategies to help you identify and encourage peer learning opportunities in your own nature-based practice.

What You'll Gain from This Seminar:

✅ A clear understanding of what peer-to-peer learning looks like in a therapeutic context
✅ Insights into how this form of learning supports confidence, connection, and inclusion
✅ Practical tools to foster peer learning moments—both planned and spontaneous
✅ Real-life examples from Kevin Heinze Grow programs, including group and one-on-one settings
