Join us for the seventh seminar in our Online Series: The GROW Model – Dignity of Choice
In Therapeutic Horticulture, supporting participants to make their own choices is central to building confidence, independence, and personal growth.
Some health and disability professionals may know this concept as “Dignity of Risk”, but at Kevin Heinze Grow, we frame it as “Dignity of Choice”—reflecting the importance we place on empowering participants to make decisions, take risks, and when ready, step outside their comfort zone.
What does this look like in a garden setting? How do practitioners balance safety with opportunities for growth?
In this seminar, we’ll unpack both “Dignity of Choice” and “Dignity of Risk” and share real-world examples from our Therapeutic Horticulture programs. You’ll come away with practical strategies for supporting participant decision-making while fostering confidence and autonomy.

✅ A clear understanding of “Dignity of Choice” and “Dignity of Risk” in practice
