Join us for the second Seminar in our Online Series: The GROW Model – Engagement and Participation
Following our foundational seminar, Therapeutic Horticulture in Practice, we are excited to continue our online seminar series exploring the elements of Kevin Heinze Grow’s therapeutic model of practice: The GROW Model, starting with Engagement & Participation.
This seminar focuses on the meaning of “Engagement” and “Participation” in Therapeutic Horticulture—terms often used to describe a participant’s interaction with activities and experiences. How do we define, foster, and reflect on meaningful engagement?
Together we will explore how Therapeutic Horticulture professionals at KHG approach, discuss, and reflect on engagement and participation in their work. Attendees will gain insight into these reflections and be introduced to a framework to support their own practice.
What You’ll Gain from This Seminar:
✅ A deeper understanding of engagement and participation in a Therapeutic Horticulture context
✅ Insights from Kevin Heinze Grow on how they facilitate and assess engagement
✅ A framework to support your own reflections on participation in practice
✅ An opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals in the field
Who Should Attend? This seminar is ideal for Therapeutic Horticulture practitioners, allied health professionals, educators, and anyone interested in the intersection of nature, therapy, and participant engagement.
